Japanese Cuisine workshop will be not just a cooking class but also great opportunity to present culture and traditions of this extraordinary country. You will learn the secrets of perfect umami flavor compositions: Japaneses spices, herbs and traditional products. Our Chef teach you the most popular way of cooking in Japan. You will also find out the role of rituals and local traditions. You will talk about differences between cooking and eating at home and in restaurants. You get to know most popular Japanese dishes, Chefs and most inspiring cooking books about this cooking culture.
Working individually or in small groups (2 persons) you will prepare a traditional Donburi Set.
Program:
- Vegan Una-don (vegan eel and egg on rice)
- Famous Miso Soup
- 2 side dish: Tomato and onion salad (soy sauce vinegar marinade),
Spinach Goma-ae (dashi marinate with sesame)
You can eat dishes prepared during the workshop or take it home with you. During the class hot and cold drinks (coffee, tea and water) will be served.
IMPORTANT! We are ZERO WASTE place so if it’s possible – take your take away lunch boxes for all stuff that you can’t eat during class.
